Functional Capacity Assessments
A functional capacity assessment (FCA) is a type of evaluation conducted by our occupational therapists to determine an individual’s ability to perform activities related to their daily living. The assessment typically involves a series of assessments and interviews that assess an individual’s physical, cognitive, and behavioral abilities, as well as any limitations or challenges they may face. The goal of an FCA is to identify an individual’s functional capabilities, as well as any areas where they may require additional support or accommodations to perform daily activities safely and effectively. The outcome is a detailed, personalised report that can be used to guide therapy planning and support NDIS funding applications or reviews — ensuring the individual has the right resources to thrive in daily life.

Developmental Assessments
Developmental assessments are designed to gain a clear understanding of a child’s growth and progress across key developmental areas. These assessments help identify any challenges or delays in skills such as movement, play, emotional regulation, social interaction, and everyday tasks — all in relation to what’s expected for their age.Whether you're seeking clarity on developmental concerns or support for an NDIS application, our assessments are conducted in a calm, child-friendly approach that empowers families with understanding and direction.
